14th February - Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

It is the year 2016, and everything is getting expensive in Malaysia. With the roses cost about MYR 8 to MYR 20 for one stalk of rose, it is NOT getting cheap with some restaurants offering sets meal for nice and lovely couple wanting to celebrate this wonderful day.

So, what did I (or we as a couple) do for this wonderful day of celebration?

We decided to cook our own meal for dinner. So, we got the rosemary from our own herbs garden (only rosemary and lavender anyway...), and my wife getting ready for the cooking showdown!!

And TA-DAH!!!!  Lovely dinner - Rosemary Grilled Chicken, served with red wine.

How about you guys? It is nice even to hang out with some friends or family if you are single. For those who are working away from family, I hope you can meet your love soon. I worked offshore before, I do know the feelings, away from family, away from friends during special occasions.

Ooops!!! Before I forget, today is birthday for everyone as according to Chinese belief. The seventh day after New Year is everyone's birthday!! Woohoo!! It must be great for whole world to celebrate the birthday together!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Old Minifigures

Minifigures from Old Sets

Is anyone still remember these minifigures? I got my first few sets of Lego when I was a kid, well, around 1994-ish. Although most of the loose parts already lost or blend together with the new one, the old minifigures still bring back lots of memories.

As a kid, I played a lots with the minifigures, and having said that - most of the minifigures leg/pants already loose and hardly stand (lolz!!!). And I even name them too!! The guy on the left is Aman while the one on the right is Papa (well, I know - not creative enough). I cannot remember which sets Aman comes from but Papa from the Lego 6559

What's your first memory on Lego? Did you still keep the old sets? Did you give it away already?
